My advice to new nurses and new nursing students is to never give up on your dream. Nursing is the most rewarding career in the world, but it is also an extremely challenging career. It challenges you physically and mentally each day.
You will have patients that will challenge you and make you question if this is the right path for you. There will be days where you think you cant do it anymore and those are the days where you need to just push through. I can tell you that nursing wont always be easy, but it will always be worth it. It will make you the strongest version of yourself.
Being a nurse has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I have taken care of people at all different stages of their lives, on the best and worst days of their lives. Being a nurse has been the best learning experience i could ever ask for and has shaped me into the person that i am today.
